Meet Deanna
Hi, I'm Deanna Singhan, owner of Tropical Treks.
I'm a wife, a mom of three, a proud Gigi to one, and an independent travel advisor based in Edmonton, Alberta.
Travel has always been more than just a vacation to me. It's an opportunity to step away from the everyday, reconnect with the people who matter most, and create memories that last a lifetime.
Today, I have the privilege of helping families, couples, groups, and solo travellers do exactly that.
My Journey
From Paramedic To Travel Advisor
Before entering the travel industry, I spent years serving the Edmonton community as a paramedic.
Helping people has always been at the heart of who I am.
After a back injury brought that chapter of my life to an unexpected end, I found myself searching for a new path. Fortunately, I had already begun building a career in travel and discovered a passion for helping people experience the world.
What started as a side venture quickly became something much bigger.
Today, Tropical Treks allows me to continue doing what I've always loved—helping people, just in a different way.
Instead of responding to emergencies, I now help create unforgettable experiences, celebrations, and adventures.
